 Flour and potatoes delivered to Jones Ranch, Two Wells and other isolated areas south of Gallup . NB partners with Navajo Christian Response Team and Rehoboth Christian School to help our secure and deliver staples needed for many still in quarantine or living in isolated areas.
 Nihitaa Binaanish volunteers teamed up with Operation Bandana, Road Runner Food Bank, House of Fellowship, White Rock Presbyterian Church and Santa Fe Calvary Baptist Church to deliver over five pallets of fresh food to all over the Navajo Nation
 NB is planning to teach area youth the traditional skill of sheep shearing, drawing on the cultural knowledge of one local grandma who recovered from COVID-19
 As New Mexico has lifted some of it's COVID-19 Pandemic guidelines, NB staff have carefully and wisely restarted some of their self-help work in their Diné community.

Lorraine and Fred Thomas of the Navajo House of Fellowship feel all your prayers everyday, for them, their families and their community during this coronavirus crisis on the Navajo Nation. They appreciate the outpouring of support that is being sent their way through Nihitaa' Binaanish, Our Father's Business. Many loved ones continue to battle covid19 and some relatives have passed away. They have made the Lord their refuge as they minister to their people. As exhausted as Lorraine is she recently said, " We've got to keep doing what we do for His Kingdom!" Pictures:Masks made and donated by WRPC members and friends.  During this pandemic crisis on the Navajo Nation, relief supplies were delivered to the Navajo House of Fellowship area on Friday, May 22.
Nihitaa’ Binaanish, Our Father’s Busines volunteers worked with Operation Bandana NM and White Rock Presbyterian Church to deliver a truckload of food, water, cleaning supplies, facemasks, hygiene supplies and most of all, the LOVE OF CHRIST to 13 families near Bread Springs. Operation Bandana gave Nihitaa’ Binaanish a full pickup load of items donated at their Los Alamos drop off site at Pueblo Gym. Volunteers from White Rock Presbyterian Church helped Operation Bandana load up all the remaining items and provided four of the five vehicles and drivers who transported and unloaded the donations at the Santa Fe Convention Center. Once all the donations came into the Santa Fe Convention Center, they were loaded up on National Guard trucks and taken to the Navajo Nation. Families at Bread Springs received items through Fred and Lorraine Thomas who picked the goods up from Jennifer and Ken Holmes in a mall parking lot in Albuquerque. Lorraine reported that all the families were so thankful, some of whom were hosting two funerals. Pray that Fred and Lorraine’s work of mentoring people in need to live a life of dignity will continue and thrive during this pandemic. Pastor Fred’s word for today: Hebrews 13:2 "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." Submitted by Jennifer Holmes  Nihitaa Binaanish congratulates two Julie’s Helpers Memorial Scholarship winners who have recently attained their educational goals. Jamy Malone, from Thoreau NM, is a two-time Julie’s Helpers Scholarship winner who graduated from UNM with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Tinisha Spencer, from Mentmore, NM, and also a JHMS two-time winner, graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters in Social Work. Both women plan to return to the Navajo Nation to serve their people with their education. ( Jamy will continue her studies at UNM for her Masters Degree first.) White Rock Presbyterian Church is honored to have supported their educational journey. Both young women appreciate the love and support from WRPC. Jamy says, “WRPC will never truly understand how much each person contributed to my education, not just financially but with words of encouragement too. I’m so grateful for White Rock Presbyterian Church.” Please continue to pray for Tinisha and Jamy as they use their education to serve their people.
